How Do I Make Kratom Tea?

A Short History on the Origins of Kratom Tea

In remote regions of Thailand indigenous tea trees flourish in the tropical climate of the densely forested mountains of Chiang Rai Province. Tea historians believe the place of tea’s birth to be near the adjoining sections of the outlying wild jungles that run from Assam, India to China’s southern Yunnan Province, across the top of Laos and what today is Myanmar, down into northern Thailand, and right across the northern regions of the country of Vietnam.

Indigenous tribes of Akha, Hmong, Labu, Lisu, Kosen, and Lua began in Mainland China and Myanmar (past recognized as Burma), and migrated to mountainous remote jungles of northern Thailand, surrounded by the vast outback of Laos and Myanmar. Centuries old letpet, kratom and many other plants have grown into Awe striking tea trees in these jungles, from which local natives have made tea from the leaves, as well as gathering herbs from the forest’s herbal rich grounds.
